Why does the Good Lock app isn't available in my country?

The feature is limited to select countries. And it's an annoying thing about Samsung that it didn't give everyone the opportunity to experience advanced customization. Some of the countries where Good Lock is available are South Korea, the United States, India, Canada, some European countries, and a few more.

it's kinda sad to know that it's not available i hope you can change that to be available too in other country cause i heard that it is good for costumization...🥹

Thanks for sharing your comments and your keen interest in Good Lock app becoming available on your beloved Samsung Galaxy phone.

Samsung’s Good Lock is an app that not only lets you customize the on-screen look of your Galaxy smartphone but also alters the way you use your lock screen and notifications. Meanwhile, downloading apps is not encouraged, as this will cause compatibility issues and may cause harm to your Samsung Galaxy device. 

As of the moment, Good Lock is only available in the US, South Korea, and selected European countries. Should the application be available here in the Philippines, it will be available for download via the Galaxy Store.

Please stay tuned for more official announcements about the latest rollout of latest software updates, including the Good Lock app in the Philippines, through the Samsung members app notification bell icon and/or through device settings.

I understand your question and I don't really have an answer as to why would Samsung make the app exclusive to some countries.


But if you just want to use the modules to customise your phone, you can choose from these options:

1. You can use Fine Lock (from Google Play Store) and download modules (in apk) that you want.
It's completely free and add-free.

2. You can use VPN and connect to USA server, remove your SIM card and restart your phone (or maybe just clear Galaxy Store from recent apps or clear its data - sorry, I forgot) and download GoodLock from Galaxy Store.

I opted for option 1 but I also tried option 2. I think modules in option 2 can receive updates earlier but taking the option 1 is easier.

That's actually unfair, I am from Myanmar and I bought a new Galaxy s24 plus. I want to design my phone so, I really need Good lock application in my phone. Good lock should available in Myanmar. If Good lock is not available in Myanmar Galaxy s24 is will be useless. I am a Samsung fan and I just want to share my opinion. Thank you❤️.

I too purchased a samsung device that supports Goodlock. I've been using a Samsung s8 since it's release back in 2017. I was so excited to get my hands on a samsung device with at least android 13 only to find Goodlock isn't available in my region/country(Africa). But somehow in some way, I managed to get Goodlock.  Not Goodlock exactly but finelock. It is available on the play store and it works exactly like Goodlock.  Do give it a
