Has any one else ran into this issue with Beta 2? I am using a Tmobile S10+ on beta 2 and I'm used to using Google Messages as my default SMS app and with Beta 2 all my text replies still go to the Samsung Messages app no matter what 3rd party SMS app I set as default from the settings menu .

I use Google Messages as my default and haven't had any issues with this. Did you set the default SMS app through Google Messages or through Samsung settings?

I've had this issue since beta 1. Have set GM as default through the app and in settings. nothing works. I had done a factory reset after beta 1 and full cache wipenfrom recovery after beta 2. I have yet to try to clear data from the app though.

Just did a data wipe on the app and still no dice. I did the enabled rcs trick and it worked but next sms I got in went to Samsung Messages.

So somehow I got it to work. after the last txt when to Samsung Messages I went back in and chose default as Google messages. then went into setting and set it as default. changed back to Samsung then again to Google. have done that before, but seems to have finally stuck. sms are now going to GM.

have you tried going into the options menu of the standard messaging app and just clicking the option to remove notifications this will prevent any notifications from popping up on it and staying on the other one you choosing to use just block the notifications don't put them on silent just completely block it clear your cache clear your data and never try to log back on to the Samsung messenger app
