On Android Auto, does anyone have a "machine gun" effect instead of voice for GPS turn by turn notifications and also on messages.

yea, same here, pressing the play button on any audio app stops it momentarily then it comes back, sometimes it doesn't, restarting Android auto by disconnecting the phone and plugging it back in can sometimes fix it, but it can just start happening again.

@samsung it's like if you tapped a mic over and over.

I have this issue as well. Sometimes it's no sound when directions are supposed to be heard and other times it's the machine gun sound when the directions are supposed to be heard.

same here and have seen MANY others report it in these forums... since beta 2 update there is either no voice from Google assistant or there is static... which very much sounds like a machine gun... it appears to be listed in the known issues but have no idea if it will be fixed soon

I'm having this problem too. I had to mute my voice directions because it was the repeated tapping sound when it was trying to play something in Maps

please make sure you're all reporting this as well, so the next update will resolve the issue.

I have this issue as well. It's a static rattle only when using navigation. When play music it works fine.
