Android Auto voice assistant

Anyone else experiencing any issues with Google maps navigation or Waze navigation not saying directions? Also when I click Google assistant I get a static sound and nothing happens.

I am also experiencing the same issue upon each navigational prompt and also when trying to use google assistant to make a call.

oh thank goodness I'm not the only one, I tried everything to get it resolved

known issue, will be fixed eventually, us my biggest issue, this and Twitter, but it's beta for a reason.
