I recently got an alarm just randomly that i hadn't set that went off in the morning. It sounded like scratching and static. I set it back to normal that morning and it was selected as a sound called "silent". I tried to go back and find it and i cant find any thing about it at all, its kinda creeping me out.
Please try clearing the system cache and rebooting your device.
