Anyone else get overheating & sluggish performance when connected to watch?

For the past 4 or 5 betas, my phone overheats & gets very warm to the point where it becomes unusable. I reboot the phone which solves the problem temporarily. But it comes back after a few hours.

I think it's because of some connection issue with my Gear S3 Classic smartwatch. When not connected, my phone's okay. It's also okay when I connect the phone to a Fossil Gen5 smartwatch.

Are there any Gear S3 owners having or not having any issues?

Have you tried clearing your cache partition from the bootloader menu??
this may remedy your issues in some way.
