I'm getting random loud noises over car audio with Android Auto (have to unplug and plug back in to make it go away), and the navigation audio will lower the volume of currently playing audio, but no audio from navigation is played in the car or phone.

I tried "unmuting" navigation, and tried both of the navigation options of playing audio over bluetooth.

Same thing happens to me. Wont read messages aloud. All you hear is static, clicking noises. I have cleared the cache and still issue.

Same issue here. Using Waze for my navigation. What are you using?

Also having this problem. Seems like audio works fine for the application you are using, but I get choppy/static/terrible noise when another app tries to take audio focus.

Example - Google Podcasts is playing something. I am navigating with Google Maps. When Maps tries to play audio (like to alert of upcoming turn), I get this massive choppy static noise over the audio from Google Podcasts. Same thing happens when using Waze
