Updated to the new beta version and still can't edit apn settings plz help

Things like this happen in betas so use the feedback form and keep reporting it.

if your using a carrier branded device or a SIM from a supported carrier in an unlocked device the default APN is being generated from the SIM and is set by your carrier and thus is uneditable. If you want to modify the Default APN ypu have to create a new one and then select that one for use.

Some carriers lock the APN settings so they can't be altered by the owner of the phone. Sprint and Verizon both started doing that in Android Pie.
