agreed! the music app is a mess constantly crashes, open split view no longer works, they never fixed gear VR issue where the controller never connects

Which music app is this we're talking about? Mine only came with Google Play Music but no Samsung built app that I'm aware of. Using Poweramp for 9 years now and it easily reads over 10,000 songs on my SD Card.

Samsung music. I know others read over 10k (I use musicolet). It would just be nice if Samsung music did. I prefer it over other music apps.

Did anyone of you perform a factory reset? I am not saying it is necessary, just wondering if some of the issues presented can be resolved with a factory reset in which case another Beta won't really help anyway.

Nonetheless, I think we are definitely not going to see Beta # 8 and any further issues are going to be addressed with monthly security patches.

I haven't done a factory reset but cleared system cache multiple times. At this point, all I need is the music app working which is my daily driver. it was working fine on Beta 6 but Beta 7 messed it up.

I also did a factory reset for beta 7. I noticed better responsiveness to touch, but janky animations pretty much the minute I downloaded it. After a couple of days I did a factory reset and it fixed most of my problems.....at first. Now beta 7 is popping up with new bugs every second. I do understand it's the nature of the software when it hasn't been stabilized but it's annoying to deal with in the meantime. All I'm saying is the official update can't come soon enough because beta 7 feels like it's falling apart.

I don't agree for one thing beta 7 is working for a lot of people. most people are not giving any details. most say it's broken. whats broken what kind of phone. what carrier

did you read the comments above where I mentioned some of the issues? The carrier shouldn't matter since the issues are related to the software. I am using S10 on Tmobile.
