Beta Lag

Hello,

Anyone else experiencing a sudden lag with the beta version? Every now and then the phone will freeze and the apps menu will disappear.. just wondering if that's something samsung team should be working on!

Please try clearing the system cache and rebooting your device.

It happens sometimes. I've even cleared my cache. Long pressing an app to bring up the quick menu triggers it a lot of the time

Ive noticed that on my S10. I even went as far as going into recovery and formatting the cache partition. I had to wait until another stable beta update was applied, it now only freezes with google chrome scrolling nothing else besides that. It just seems that you need to wait until another update as is appears any open apps will freeze and apps on home will disappear.

Yes, Samsung developers should be working on eliminating lag. In fact, the should work on making it fast and light, i.e. to not use up too much memory. Additionally, they should benchmark it against other UI and try to meet or exceed them. The have always been complaints about the stock UI on devices being sluggish and bloated. Why else would there be others developing faster and lighter ones? It would be a shame to put out something that would bog down such nice devices like the Galaxy 10 series.

it's happened to me too. I'll be watching a video on youtube and when I get a text I switch back to messages and it lags. i think it has something to do with orientation though.
