I know most don't necessarily love bixby. Which I feel is a bit exaggerated. Mainly due to it being as forced as it was/is. To be fair, it was implemented in a very TouchWiz way. Where you didn't want it forced in the extreme. But dealt with it so you can take advantage of the two or ten benefits you personally got from it. The way I kinda see it is, Google assistant is for everything outside of your device. And Bixby is dedicated to making the phone experience more convenient/easier. I don't use bixby all that much(I have tried at length), but bixby routines has been amazing. In the OneUi 2/Android 10 beta, I don't have that ability and I do genuinely miss it and it prevented me from frantically changing notifications to vibrate at work because I had forgotten. Or set notifications on when at home and missing messages. Not to mention switching WiFi on automatically. The routines just keeps crashing. And yes, I do check for updates daily. So I am current. But I really hope that function continues once the beta dust settles. It is a fantastic function in my opinion.
