black bar on screen on snapchat s10e

snapchat black bar on bottom of screen on my s10e can someone please explain why this is happening and if there is a solution.

I have that too. I'm guessing it's because of the tall aspect ratio of the phone. Was this happening before the beta?

Yeah it's been there for awhile now. About 3 months before the beta even started, if I'm not mistaken. It's on Snap to fix it. 🥺

settings>display>full screen apps. make sure Snap is enabled in full screen mode. however at this point your wasting your time with Snap on Android. They're still treating android like second class citizens. like seriously Evan all we're asking for is for your dumb app to finally use the Camera API like on iOS and not just screen grab

if you got to settings>display>enable gesture with hints, the black bar will go away and snapchat will work fullscreen. weird but fixes that black bar at bottom.
