Did you look at the connection notification on your phone and verify that file transfer mode is chosen? When charging mode is chosen Windows 10 doesn't have access to the storage on your phone. If that isn't the problem then on the Windows 10 end you need to uninstall the driver being used for the phone. If you see any unidentified external or storage devices with an error mark that could be your phone being misidentified as a different type of device. After you uninstall the Android driver or device showing with an error when you connect your S10 it should automatically install the correct driver. Your laptop needs to see the S10 as a new device to automatically install the proper driver.
