I did it seems to be work for all other versions of android and since secure is the standard for enterprise secure business email it a very important app.
without it I can't use my phone for work

It was advised that anyone that had a critical need for their phone not install the beta. Did no one even bother to read the warnings. This is not abnormal for an early beta.

this is my primary phone but I decided to factory reset and didn't end up with any issues

try uninstalling reinstalling the app. I found this fixes most app issues.
