I believe it's supposed to take effect over all the main accents (like the blue in your drop down) but it doesn't work in the beta, maybe not at all on Samsung One UI 2. However you can use the app Theme Park from Galaxy Store to change all of the system colors without the typical ugly images that regular themes add to your contacts, messenger etc.

but theme apps ruins it for dark mode . one you apply theme park app kiss your dark mode good bye . wish samsung can integrate dark mode with themes . I love all my apps having dark mode

walkingdeadBeta, so there are no theme park themes you can use with dark mode? What if in Developer options you force Dark Mode. I like it also.
