Frame "brackets"

Does anyone else get this two brackets framing the bottom portion of the screen? I can't take a screenshot of them for some reason. Thanks!

I only get them on my lock screen. bottom corners

Yes! I get the on my lock screen and the first home screen that appears after I unlock. If I swipe left or right to another screen they disappear.

For what it's worth, I'm running the Google Now launcher and figured it had to do with a bug with that.

And also, when I take a screenshot, they don't appear on the saved screenshot. Weird.

I noticed that they disappear after a second or two.

Edit - I now see that they appear anytime I transition to the home screen from any other app also. So basically, any time I go to my home screen they appear.

They're for google assistant.

I haven't been able to use them in any way. Any ideas on how to remove them?

it's a one UI gesture thing I guess. I didn't have it until I switched to gestures
