Full brightness on scree results in unusable notification shade?

Questions
What the title says.  Turn you screen to full brightness and try to pull down you notification shade.  Not sure if it will be an issue for you, but this is what happens for me:

Edit:  was not able to reproduce this after restarting.  This wasn't my first reboot after installing though.
