gallery photo won't delete

I am continuously trying to delete a photo I have in my gallery. Now that I have sent to the trash it is still showing up in my gallery but when I try to click it it's showing up a gray square with an! As if it doesn't exist. Anyone know how to get rid of it? It's still showing up the photo until you click it

Have you tried clearing the gallery cache? Go to Settings>Apps>Gallery>Force close

then press Storage>Clear cache

Yeah, worked then showed back up... Makes total sense!
