Group texts

When I receive a message from a group text (using Samsung's native text app), they do not automatically download to the group thread. I have to go into that person's individual thread and manually download it for the text to appear in the group thread.  I've done a few soft resets, which hasn't helped. 

Anyone else having this issue?  If so, were you able to do anything to correct it?

Edit:  already reported as a bug before posting here :) 

Edit #2: switched over to Android Messages to try there and this is not an issue.  So looks like it's just within Samsung Messages.

Edit #3: The issue was still going on after the 3rd beta update, so I decided to do a factory reset. Problem is now resolved :)

was finally able to test it and it works ok for me. I've got 3 others in a group and they all come to the actual group, not individual threads.. did you change the message settings, or maybe they aren't replying to all?

Glad to hear it works for you! Yes, everyone in all of my group threads reply to all. No settings were changed on my end.
I tested this again today after clearing the cache/data and a soft reset, same results: the text gets sent over in the individuals thread as a download. Once I manually download it, it pops over to the group thread (example pic attached)

Edit. Nope. After 10 mins of being fixed, it's jacked up again.

UPDATE to my texting issue!
Clearing the phone's cache partition has ALMOST fixed the issue.
Group texts are almost 100% delivering to the group thread. After clearing the cache partition, I'm probably only having to manually download 10% or less of these.
However, almost all media (images and gifs) received is still being received in the individual thread instead of the groups if I'm NOT in the group thread at the time it's received. If I am in the group thread, 100% all the time I receive the media in that group thread.
Progress! But still wonky.
