Any reason why lock screen is brighter then home screen when unlocking the phone? Video attached.

there is a setting under facial recognition to make screen brighter on lock screen for easier facial recognition. just turn it off.

Thank you for your advice. The settings mentioned in your comment were off before I took the screen video. but nevertheless, thank you for trying to help 👍

if you have night mode turned on there's also a setting there "apply to wallpaper". check and see if that makes a difference.
