messages app not working properly

Been using the beta software for about a week now. No issues until last night when the messages app stopped working. A blank screen opens and then crashes immediately. All other apps seem to be working fine. Please advise.

You have to wipe cache and data on the Messages app. Back up your texts on Smart Switch first.

There's multiple issues with the Beta and the Samsung native Messages app. Everyone seems to have a different one, but this seems to be th emost common.

Make sure to report it on the beta app home page.

Also, other messaging apps like Textra and Android Messages don't have issue. So feel free to switch to a different texting app a whole.
