messages application crashes

Can't launch messages application from messages icon since loading beta software. Crashes application and prompts to send error report, which I have sent. I can only launch messages application from the phone app

having the same issue now. seemed to be working fine earlier.

Did you tried clearing the messahes app cache and data?
