Hey guys, this might not apply to the Beta, but I found that if you click on the play store version in the play store settings, you get a similar popup such as if you unlock Dev options in the settings by clicking the baseband version. Anyone know what this does?

app beta testing to see how well the app works along with all the Google Play Store nonsense it's for actual true Developers not just regular beta tester people

yes it does I just answered to you what it does just like developer options opens up options on your phone to do different testing that option allows developers to do their versions of that kind of testing for the Google Play Store I put it to you in simple terms if you're not a developer you won't understand do yourself a favor and stay away from developer options people who don't know what developer options do usually cause their phone to get messed up and then they Point blame at other things it's exactly what it says you have reached developer options if you do not know what a developer is or what their options are leave it be

Okay? But it doesn't open up any new settings to change or do anything, which is why I said it didn't answer my question, it doesn't open up any settings to edit/change or do anything other than the normal options. I'm asking what it does because it doesn't do what you said, which would be pretty obvious, and I wouldn't have asked. Thanks for replying anyway though.

I've just found what they ACTUALLY do. They don't allow you to enable anything that would actually hurt your phone the way that you say, just a few things that some app devs can use so you can help them or something, such as internal app sharing. Devs can share to you I guess a "pre-beta" version of an app, if they don't want it to be open to everyone in the public ,they can share to specific people that have the option enabled.
