RCS NOT AVAILABLE ON UNLOCKED S10 FROM SAMSUNG

How comes the unlocked s10 from Samsung does not offer the RCS option in messages yet? I would think with this should be an option on the unlocked version seeing that some carriers already have this available to use on their networks.

It must depend on the carrier because i don't have it in Samsung Messages either. I do have it in Google Messages though.

It showed up in messaging settings as delivery receipts toggle. I think it's dependent on both carriers implementing the service. I'm on tmobile and is not working for messages I sent this morning.

This works for me now. Google Messages doesn't call it RCS. Open Messages and go into Settings, then select Chat Features. My wife and I just tested this and it works
(S10 and S10+ on AT&T)

Works on my factory unlocked s10. Using Google messages on Verizon
