Theme's icons change in dark mode

When I download themes and switch to dark mode, icons change from the theme's supplied icons to what I assume is Samsung's default icons. Is this normal? If so I don't like it and there should at least be a setting to prevent that.

How do you switch on dark mode while using a theme? My S10PLUS won't allow me to do that.

I've had that issue too. Some themes have been letting me. But, the icons will change to Samsungs default icons

it seems there's only 1 style for dark mode right now. So whenever it's switched on, regardless of the supported theme, you go to the same dark mode style settings.

That's sad and I hope they change that. Just seems dumb to me. Some apps won't let you use dark mode manually

all of these themes work in dark mode.
I have a different icon pack from the theme store installed, and have not had this problem with icons switching. that's pretty weird and have no idea what could cause it to happen.

I can change to a different icon set and use dark mode. it's just when themes have their own icons included, they change when enabling dark mode sadly

Please try clearing the system cache and rebooting your device.
