Questions
So since beta 7 screwed up the display for several of us (not as bright as it should be, has a tint to it), I'm wondering if a factory reset would fix it? I do not find factory resetting after every update is necessary and good for you if you do, please don't turn this post into a debate about that. I've wiped the device cache partition (as I do after every update), it hasn't had any effect tho. I don't want to factory reset if it will just be wasting my time. But if any of you think it may solve the issue, I'm willing to give it a go.

No, I wouldn't do a factory reset, I just don't see it helping what you're experiencing. As long as it's not drastic, if it were me I'd hold on to the next update.
