I've encountered an issue with my Flip phone where it keeps automatically shutting down upon flipping.

To resolve this, I've decided to claim the benefits of Samsung Care + in order to fix the problem.
  1. I've reported my case to Samsung using the following link: https://my.careplus.co/portal/login.

  2. After reporting the issue, I'm waiting for Bolttech Device Protection Msia Sdn Bhd to contact me via WhatsApp to gather more details about my phone's condition.

  3. Once contacted, they allow to either collect my phone for repair or I can choose to personally visit their repair center.

  4. Upon receiving my phone at my designated address, they will diagnose the issue within one working day.

  5. Once diagnosed, I will need to pay an insurance cost of RM629 for the repair.

  6. The repair process is expected to take two working days.

  7. After the repair is completed, I'll receive my totally 'new phone' back.

  8. Following the repair, Bolttech will reach out to me for feedback to further enhance their services.

Some important points to consider:
️ Make sure to have an alternative phone available during this period.
️ Back up your important documents to Cloud before handing your device
️ Pick up and delivery services are available daily, while repairs may take 1 to 3 working days.
️ The pricing policy for 2022 and 2023 is consistent, with a fixed cost of RM629 for either replacement or repair for device's purchased in 2022.
️ You can utilise multiple claims within the coverage period, but it's important to nate that claims can only be made up to the value of your device's retail purchase.

My thoughts:
It was convenience and swift progress, largely due to the efficient responsiveness of the support teams.

However, a communication gap emerged when dealing with Samsung Members Support, specifically regarding the repair cost of my phone purchased in 2022. The pricing policy charged me RM629, even for a repair-only situation, which is equivalent to the insurance cost for a replacement in 2023. Unfortunately, I couldn't locate any information about the 2022 pricing policy on Samsung's Official Website, leading to my dissatisfaction with the overall experience.

Thanks for the sharing👍
I've looked at Samsung Care+ though certainly there are pros & cons, but it's not an attractive offer, at least to me.
