if the phone can still be use then dont worry.. u still get the security update 'maybe'.. but if u want android 11 one UI3 then buy new one.. ur phone getting old but that doesnt mean it broken..

True. Just use until it's 'almost' reached its time then get a new one. You save more in the long run and get a phone with better specs that will last you til the next upgrade. ^^
