I have new card from maybank and i want to add to samsung pay but it keep saying the card is invalid. As we know samsung pay accept all maybank card as stated . How can i fix this issue? Is there anyone who have the same problem?
You should call Maybank to reset your digital tokens. These tokens are limited, and are used by services you have linked your bank account to.
Usually, we use these tokens to connect to services (like youtube premium) where the subscription fees are automatically paid from your account every month.
When I called, the bank said that Samsung Pay requires us to have at least 5 tokens to connect our card to it. From this, I knew that every service we link to our card uses up a certain number of tokens. So I couldn't do it, since I didn't have any tokens left and for them to reset the tokens, you should give permission to remove the other services already connected to your card.
If this happens to you, try connecting another card for your payments, instead.
