Card not supported

I've just switched from iphone (10 years+) to a samsung and I'm super disappointed in the samsung pay app. 3 of my cards are not supported even though they are Visa and Mastercard, it's just ridiculous. Apple pay literally accepts any card without issue. Is there another payment app that works similar to Apple Pay that I can use?

First of all, we do know which bank is supported in Samsung Pay and there are still some banks which are not. This are called partnership and is actually done by both parties between the bank and Samsung Malaysia itself. So you cannot just blame Samsung Malaysia for this. The bank which is not stated in Samsung Pay, might think/ don't want to go through with Samsung Pay.

Next, where you said 'Epal Pay is literally accept any card without issue'. Err, did you mean in Malaysia? I am not really using Epal devices lately, as i know that there is no Epal Pay in Malaysia yet (correct me if i am wrong). 

No offence just my thought. You can try ask your bank about the Samsung Pay too on why they don't partner with Samsung Pay or maybe try to switch to another bank.

Sorry one more thing to add in, please try not to use any third party application which might or can link with your bank card due to security issue. As you do notice that the spamming/ scamming in Malaysia is getting worst these days. Trust those with higher privacy and security company or brand. Just my thought no offence too.

Here's for your reference (Source: samsung.com) Even I created my Maybank account purposely because I really want to Samsung Pay as 2 of my existing bank cards aren't supported.

I tried adding both my Maybank and CIMB credit cards and both failed after many attempts

try this possible troubleshoots

• reinstall samsung pay

or;

• call maybank cs

*note that for maybank, it only allows one registration of samsung pay on one samsung device, you cannot register it in two devices (e.g on your mobile phone and galaxy watch)

Yeah, don't use 3rd party app for credit card or store password.
