StudentsWhen I was 8 years old (2012) my GT-S5360 so called Samsung Galaxy Y (Young) released in October 2011 have been in my side for many years.
Remembering my experience with this phone is truly nostalgic, as it's been a part of my life growing up and discovering many things along the way. Now, using it in 2023 may been change the experience but the memories stay the same.
As it run Android 2.3.6 or the Android Gingerbread Operating Software (OS) that's why sadly it can't access Samsung account and Google account because Google unfortunately didn't support now Gingerbread on September 27, 2021. Also, cool thing that this version have Easter eggs when tapping multiple times the android version button. This have 290 megabytes of RAM and 160 megabytes of internal storage that's why SD is my partner in my early age using this phone with 32gb SD card maximum capacity that this phone can handle.
Here's my photo traveling around using it in our campus at Polytechnic University of the Philippines Manila, it serve to me as a disposable camera with the 2 mega pixel and mp3 player to listen music while studying/reviewing by putting musics files in the SD card like the life back without online streaming service because the battery last for about a day and even week.
Also it's fun customizing it with removable case to replace with different color is fantastic back then, I have many colors like orange, red, black, silver and more.
This is made for younger people, as the product name suggests. It truly provided my younger self with a thoroughly wonderful experience including other Samsung devices I've used growing up this is my first devices to work with because it's affordable and I can say Samsung is a durable and long-term used device.
Sadly due to constraints I haven't experience any latest years with Samsung ecosystem, but I'm watching reviews when have a free time and updating myself with the trends and saving money to plan brought new device that surely will benefit me with affordability is my plan and share my experiences with them to the community like the low & mid-range devices because they losing the spotlight and people currently using this have also questions I can assist with.
As technology of today is a long ride of innovation and the standards of devices maybe have a lot of requests to increase, remembering this devices exist is a testament of development not only of the users and the lifestyle as well.
Thank you for reading, and also a big thank you to the Samsung members and stars for giving me ideas and engaging in conversation during this month's Members Zoom. I'm happy to interact with you guys, and I hope to review more and share my experiences with the Samsung ecosystem in the coming years. Whether it's through community posts like this, my other social platforms, or maybe in a few months if some good news arrives in my email and utilize more this newly added student category and spread the words in and outside the community. 😉🌌
