Samsung, please let us repurpose the Bixby Button for Google Assistant.   Please make this happen, or atleast give us the option to do so....

Press the Bixby button, hit the menu dots at top right, and hit settings. then click "Bixby Key". That will give you repurpose options

No you Can't assign the Bixby Key for Google Assistant! Sammy doesn't allow it as of now.

You can re purpose the Bixby Key for other Apps except the Google Assistant.

I want to directly open the Google Assistant with one press of the Bixby Key.

You can only open Google or Google Home currently.

Why not use and give Bixby an actual try you can come to see how good she actually is. it's not that big of an issue to Samsung so they probably won't do it. I do agree with giving you and others that want it as an option but Bixby isn't too bad comparably to google assistant.

Because I have no use for Bixby, don't and won't use it. Everything I use is running GA
