Black/White bar with navigation gesture hints

It would be nice if we could remove or make it transparent the black/white bar with navigation gesture hints.

but then the quick swipe to change apps doesn't work

quick swipe works for me after toggling the nav bar hints on/off again. Also brought my Samsung Pay tab back to home & lock screens
