The little bar that comes with the gesture hints isn't a very good idea. They should just make the little pill overlay whatever app you're using so you don't need to add a bar at the bottom of the screen. Also, the swipe at the bottom to swipe between apps doesn't work with gesture hints off 😞 i know i can still swipe up and to the left but it's easier the other way.
I agree the gestures on beta 2 that allowed you to swipe the bottom of the screen to quick switch apps was very nice and I like the pill overlay idea as well
