Instead of having entire rows of screen pixels visibly dedicated as a gesture area is there anyway we can have the hint hovering over whatever we have displayed on the screen, creating usable screen area.  The current set up creates a virtual bezel of sorts.
If that isn't possible can we at least make it have a degree if transparency. The team can even create a adjustable slider in the navigation bar menu with the rest of the stuff. 

What do you think, is this something you'd like to see also??  Like and comment. 💪🏾👍🏾😎

i agree it needs to be changed, although some apps dont have the bezel on the gesture hint, such as reddit. why all the other apps have it is lost on me lol

They keep talking about this "concept". People have been asking for this since beta testing for the first One UI.
