Oops, sorry you are right. I just went into the app and used the feature. It seems very slow to use especially when going through a large message thread in comparison to Google Messages app and it would be nice if Samsung could add like a current indication of which selection you are on. Let's say you search a message thread for 'airplane' if it's said 300 times and you should be able to go to the oldest 'airplane' said and it should be 1/300 and they should all be in chronological order.

Why? They are in order and they already say when they were sent/recieved... I mean, a better way to implement this would be with the scrollbar, like it does in contacts with letters of the alphabet. Samsung could have swiping the scrollbar auto jump between weeks (showing Nov 3-9, for example) or months.

Why?😂😂😂. It's especially usual for when you want to go back to a particular date to check for something. Pretty self explanatory. If you have a thread that goes back for a very long time, it could take a while to get to the date you're searching for. Allowing the dates to be indexed & searched, like one is able to do with keywords will prove to be very helpful.

I mean even the solution you've suggestions requires that the application have date indexing. 🤔🤷🏾‍♂️
