Personally i like having the hint at the bottom that shows the little bar where to swipe. However, this adds a little sliver of a bar that never goes away. It essentially takes away a bit of screen real estate. I think it would look better and cleaner if just the little swipe bar at the bottom showed, not an entire bar at the bottom of the screen. I'm sure a lot of people would agree!
