• Now that you have implemented screen record on the quick panel, which is awesome, and works amazing! It even works when recording with the front facing camera which is golden! It would be perfect if you just add an additional toggle for voice recordings to make it seamless and simple for everyone. You already made your own stock voice recording app on One UI, so please implement that voice Recorder toggle on the quick panel so that everything is simple, and easy to use.
• Most samsung stock apps have dark mode automatically, which is awesome. But Samsung health,Smartthings,shop Samsung, Samsung pay, and Penup are the only 5 apps that don't have dark mode. Please implement dark mode on those 5 apps, they're the last ones.
• When wireless, or wired charging is implemented, it would be sweet if you could set a limit to the charging implemented, to auto stop charging after a certain percentage that you set the phone to. Let's say you are wireless charging and you fully charge, to maintain great battery, the charging would stop after fully charged to preserve battery. You've already gotten close with implementing that optimization for wireless powershare, so doing it for standard charging would cement it.
• Galaxy themes brings change in color ui for Samsung apps, which is genius. One can customize their phone easily according to their favorite color, whether it be pink, blue, red, gold, or green. Mine is green, and it's awesome because some Samsung stock apps adjust to the green theme, which is amazing. However, there are only a few apps that don't support it. and need it, to show full customization for Samsung, you'd be the boss of customization. The apps needed are Samung Music, Mail, Video, and Voice recorder. Those are literally the only ones. Literally. Please optimize them.
• I know that work is being done for a quick send from Google like an Airdrop competitor, but we know that Samsung masters in improving on what Google introduces. So Samsung integration and customization for such features would be awesome!
- It would be amazing if the default Samsung messaging app can have universal RCS or chat features regardless of carrier. This is the one thing that can compete with Apples iMessage. Google has been trying to implement RCS for ages with zero to none progress. If possible, please add chat features/RCS to be able to compete with other competitors. Samsung's AR Emoji is a clear immigration of Apples Animoji's but is less diverse. Adding universal RCS chat features that bypasses the carrier would be a MAJOR upgrade in Samsung's Messaging app.
- I suggest that you move the volume slider to the left or right side to avoid app interruptions. It is also more convenient and smooth and easier to interact with the volume in such a way. Then for more options you can swipe to right to see other volume options. Remember, this is One UI, this is supposed to specialize in One Handed Use.
• You can send videos easily through messages, it would be awesome if you could also send videos through email in case you want to send visual content to a company over a certain product or something. Speaking of, it would also be amazing if you could add videos in Samsung Notes, that way you have all information and content you need in one spot. Also, for Samsung Notes and Mail, I know it has dark mode, but it only applies to the home center layout. When you actually get to implement writing notes.or write an email, it goes back to white. We want it all to be dark. We know you can do it, since you already did for messages and Samsung Internet.
• Most of the Samung stock widgets can auto dark, such as Mail. However, Calendar doesn't have that implementation, so it would be nice if you could bring that in.
• When connecting the galaxy buds and galaxy watches, you could make the pairing process faster and more smooth animations, that way the connection for the galaxy buds and galaxy watches are undeniable. You've improved the animations for going home from an app, and the phones themselves are faster than before, so I know you can implement this.
• When connecting the galaxy buds, you can see the battery levels of the buds themselves, but not of the charging case. It would be awesome if you can add the charging case battery indication in One UI 2. Leaves no excuses for seamless connection and integration, and it makes everyone's life easier.
• Improved accuracy for GPS and Heartrate tracking for Samsung Health app and improved ui for watch active and galaxy watches would be greatly appreciated as well. It would also be sweet for improved tracking for workouts that don't involve cardio.
Samsung. Please do these things. These things can be game changer. We all trust you and know you are capable of implementing these things, because if you were able to end touch wiz of all things, then you can be beasts at UI Customization and software if the little things that matter are in place. Also, guys, if there's anything I'm missing, please comment so that I can add it in future recommendations. This was supposed to be in an all in one list for game Changing updates that is simple and easy for Samsung to see and notice so that they can have all needed updates in one place.
