In android versions before this, you were able to change the grid style of the quick panel, Eg: home screen grid and app screen grid.
The one thing I really miss and wish it would be brought back, is the ability to change your grid layout for your quick panel, I like smaller icons, and more available just by the first bar, but ever since the beta update came to my phone (obviously I signed up for it) it's no longer there
