Swipe down from edge of screen to view Status Panel.

I find it a little bit annoying having to reach all the way to the top of my screen to swipe down from the notification bar to see the Status Panel. I thought a gesture by the edge of the screen where you swipe down from there could do the trick.

i use Bottom Quick Settings for that. But it would be nice to see samsung implement that as a standard gesture. Or even add anywhere swipe status panel like in nova launcher

why not use one hand operation+ and configure the swipes to your liking

They have that already. I cam swipe down any where on the screen to pull down the status bar. You have to enable it in the home screen settings.

you can do this with one hand operation. but it's not possible if you have the new gestures enabled
