My phone keeps turning off when I use the 2× zoom and sometimes while adjusting brightness on the same zoom level while taking pictures of bright scenes.
So far, it has only been happening using the 2× zoom and adjusting brightness.
Im on the latest update (The second update of September).
I have cleared camera data and cache multiple times and the issue still persists.
The issue is not due to any third party app as I have checked using Safe Mode and the issue still comes up.
Any advice or tips on how to fix this issue?
Does anyone else face such issues?

It might be a bug, I encountered it once but haven't experienced it after that one time.

There should be an October update coming soon. Hope it fixes it then

Mmmmm not quite sure what might be the issue, I just tried what you described that causes the restarting.

- 2x Zoom (3 shots)
- 2x Zoom - adjusted brightness (1 shot)

No restarts for me. It does sound more like software than hardware (so you don't need to take it to service center, unless convenient location)

You could try to run App Booster under Good Guardians, supposedly it optimizes the apps.

Clear cache partition via Recovery

I know some people will recommend to reformat, but these days our phones does so many things and have so much information (reformat would be absolutely the last thing ever)

May I know what Good Guardians is? Is it a 3rd party app?

I wouldn't say 3rd party, but Samsung used to have these apps available under Galaxy Labs. Can't seem to find it anymore through official store nor is it baked in natively so had to download from

https://www.apkmirror.com/?post_type=app_release&searchtype=apk&s=Good+guardians

Or if just App Booster, try this link
https://www.apkmirror.com/?post_type=app_release&searchtype=apk&s=App+Booster

However, as always with installing APK (disclaimer : install at own risk, may or may not work as intended)
