Adaptive power saving set the power mode automatically based on your usage patterns to save power when it's not needed while power saving mode when turned on, 'Power saving mode' reduces your device's performance and limits vibration, location services and most background data, etc.
If you know exactly your phone power usage then it is best (on my own personal view lang ah?) to use power saving mode kac you already know what to compromise on your phone's features. But If you are, like me, who doesn't want to compromise any of the device's performance while still getting that tweak on battery performance then, I'd go with Adaptive Power Saving mode. Hehehe

On my end, I set a bixby routine to activate power saving mode once my battery level drops to 25%. It will also play a beep sound. That signals me to find a charger immediately.
Adaptive power saving is where you let the onboard AI decide the parameters of power saving mode and activate it according to your usage data gathered over a period of time. Kung erratic ang sched mo sa paggamit ng phone mo, I wouldn't suggest this. This is for people who mostly use their device on a regulated schedule.
