I recently decided to use US English for my newer Bixby. I tried to do the same with Bixby routines (why do they have to use separate voices anyway??) but it kept on using the original UK English setup and I figured it's because my phone language is UK English so I've added US English in language list. But when I go back to home screen, the Bixby widgets became unavailable so I've checked the routines and found it I had to re-link quick commands to them. I was like ok, that's simple. Alas to my surprise, all of my quick commands were missing. So I had to go back to Routines, search for "command" and think what quick command I must formulate in order to complete each routine.
Was that really necessary? I mean must I get through that just because I've added a language? Why would adding a language delete all of my quick commands. I couldn't remember all my quick commands as I think I already had more than 50 since I've had this phone for more than a year now. I can't even choose which sub-command will run quickly or not in one quick command. So I had to link it back to routines to perform another quick command that will not be on silent but that would end the first quick command.
For example: I want Bixby to set up all my volumes for the daytime but I don't want it to report what's it doing, I just want it to tell me when it's done with the setup. So I've set the quick command to run quickly. Most of the volume settings are in Bixby routines so I could easily find them when I want things to be changed. Theres no option to change Bixby voice volume in routines so one of the routines that this quick command prompts will redirect back to quick commands to adjust Bixby volume which will run quickly.
But then I wouldn't know it the setup is done so I've linked it to another routine that will run another quick command that will not run quickly (or quietly) but since one of the routines already redirect to quick command, that would already end the whole original quick command and will cut the last sub-command off.
Okay now I can think of a workaround to this quick command-routine thing..
But..
Bixby routine's limited to only 50? oh c'mon.. the conditions are still limited. Thanks for adding extra dim to actions though.
Maybe add IF + EXCEPT = THEN, ELSE, THEN. IF I'm playing a game and someone called EXCEPT favourite/starred/priority contact, THEN decline the call and send a quick message ELSE, THEN let the call through.
aha and make it 100 routines? or 150? please?
Thank you.
