Events not showing up on Samsung Calendar

My friend sent me an invite on Samsung calender for an event taking place next year August. Typically upon accepting an invite, it will be highlighted on the calendar. This however did not show up. It only showed up on my friend's side, presumably since its from the creators account. 

We them tried from my end, same thing. Wouldn't show up on my friend's side but shows up on mine. 

I've tried syncing and refreshing the calender, and clearing cache but none of them work. The app is also on its latest version. Additionally, we've tried sending invitations up to July of 2026, events will be highlighted once accepted but August onwards, it won't be highlighted and appear as there's no event. 

Is there a solution to this?

Edit: I've tested up to December 2026, still events accepted wouldn't be highlighted. I've also tried clearing app data, uninstalling and reinstalling, didn't work too. 

Edit (Solution): Scroll to the bottom of the invitation email, click on 'invite.ics' file. It'll bring you to Samsung Calendar, press save to calender and it'll show up on your Samsung Calendar.

Your friend not connect with samsung and Google calendar ,samsung and Google now integrate and can be found .

Hi, my friend has sent me other invites on Samsung calender and they always appear as highlighted once invite is accepted. I've also made sure mg friends gmail is turned on to sync.

Like i had mentioned above, accepted event highlight stop working from Aug 2026 onwards. Accepted events up to July 2026 will still be highlighted once accepted.

I'm sorry but set what? Invites had always sent via email address and had no issue.

Dates have to be chosen in order to send out an invite on Samsung Calendar. So i'm not entirely sure what date set you're referring to. Could you pls elaborate?

Becuase if it's my friend issue, it wouldn't happen to me but it does. The person that receives and accept the invitation, it will not show up nor be highlighted on Samsung Calender.

Try tell them your friend to resend again ,and your go Gmail and click pdf go samsung calendar and save it not found ,the date have been set

I've managed to find a workaround the issue.

Scroll to the bottom of the invitation email, click on 'invite.ics' file. It'll bring you to Samsung Calendar, press save to calender and it'll show up on your Samsung Calendar.
