Green line in the middle of the screen

A green line just suddenly appears at the middle of my samsung s22 ultra. What can be done to remove this? Anyone can help?

Hi, you may want to bring it in to the service centre for them to have a look at it.

Contact the help centre online through chat. They will ask for the photos of the phone and just give it to them. If the phone really isn't damaged physically, they would give a one-time replacement for free, buy u needa pay for the workmanship fee. Just got one of my s22+ screen changed recently for free.

1 green line becomes 2 lines.
I browse through the community chat. It appears to be a common issue happening around the same period after recent samsung update.
Thanks for offering free lcd replacement BUT still wanna charge labour for the replacement. I'd still need to spend time to make a trip down to service centre. Haiz.

Wouldn't the lines appear again if I get a Samsung S25? Now I am having second thoughts to continue with Samsung...

I have the exact same issue on my S22+ and it happened about 2wk ago immediately after the last SW update. First a green line appear and immediately a pink line follow 2 days later.

I tried contacted them via the Samsung chat but after 1hrs of asking tons of questions, the final conclusion is to they will help me reserve a slot to bring the phone down for their technician to check with a upfront fee of $32.70 for evaluation + $21.80 for labour.

When ask if the evaluation do not show any external damage will I get a free replacement and they say it will depend on the technician and cant commit anything. That's over $50 dollar just to check the phone and high likely after that they will ask for another $400 for the LCD replacement.

I search around and notice the same issue is still appearing on their latest S25. With these kind of handling method from samsung I'm really looking to switch to iPhone. I really loose my confidence in Samsung 🔥🔥🔥
