Green line started appearing in my Samsung second set

This is to highlight Green line issue with my second Samsung high end phone S21 Ultra in less than 2 month time after Android update on 17th DEC. The first Green line issue reported with my Note 10+ set then I bought another phone S24 ultra.

I have reported this issue with Samsung customer care but unfortunately no fix has been provided as this set is not comes under warranty which is very disappointing.

I have been using Samsung phone for quite a long period of time, 15 years and bought at least 15-20 sets for my family members. So I am highlighting this case to your knowledge and expecting the problem to be fixed to continue trust.

I also face this issue of a straight vertical green line suddenly appearing on my screen while I was watching a drama. But I did notice that "UI" suddenly updated on my S 22ultra without notice and immediately after the green line appeared. Could Samsung help with a immediate software update to remove this green line ?

Hi, software update won't resolve the hardware issue. Will need to replace the OLED screen.

If u intend to repair at Samsung service centre, the repair process will take 2 to 3 working days or may take longer than that. For third party mobile repair shop, the repair will take about 1 to 2 hours. Cost wise, Samsung service centre will definitely be more expensive than third party mobile repair.

Some third party mobile repair shops u can consider are Mister Mobile, Lite Mobile, etc.

everybody said the same thing "i have been a loyal customers for like 10 or more years", but that doesn't mean you are special customer even if you have been using 20 or 30 years, you have to replace the screen and don't hope software update could magically fix your hardware problem, and yep you have to pay the screen replacement.
