I saw this hidden in the settings but doesn't do anything

Oh this is a feature for Fold series. You simply drag an app to do multiscreen apps or its and easy way to switch from app to app. 😊

But the taskbar doesn't appear whatever I do

It only appears when you open your fold to tablet then it later disappears. Try opening another app and it should appear below, so you can switch from app to app. 😊
