Kids mode + safe mode restart

My son activated Samsung Kids Mode on his phone and does not know the passcode to disable. I am trying to restart in safe mode (all possible combinations of power buttons, volume buttons) and nothing works. Are there any other options besides a factory reset?

If you have it enabled in the setting prior, then you can do remote unlock via SmartThings find.

If you want to start in safe mode long press both down volume and side key.
Then long press the power icon until it reaches to safe mode icon.

You can then go to settings, apps and search kids home and disable it.

Then you can restart the phone.
