Supporti never wanted to use fast charging, actually i only have 25W galaxy phone and i simply turn off fast charging since day one i bought the phone, i have been like this about 7 months and i don't see any drop from charging speed from my 25W Samsung brick, from 30% to 80% always take about 1 hour and few minutes which is ok for me (ik it's not speedy but if i am not in hurry i won't turn on fast charging), and yes i use maximum protection for my phone
so i think my "weird" decision was right to keep my brick and my phone battery last longer, because i think either your brick broken (which is still possible) or a component inside your phone can also broken (rare occasion but sure still can happen), i know you may think, "impossible it was just 4 days! how can it break so soon?" but any electronics can break easily, especially that 45W brick, so my solution try with another samsung 45W brick, you should able to get Super Fast Charging 2.0 with a new one, assuming your phone component acting correctly
or become like me, turn off both fast charging and super fast charging, your choice

SupportMaybe you can try using another USB C cable instead. It's a known issue that if the cable is faulty, PD fast charging won't work.
All the best.
