Remote Unlock via SmartThings Find

Saw this post on Facebook.

OP asking if there's a way to bypass the lockscreen without resetting the device. OP got locked out of their phone with 19 hours wait time to try again. Someone commented to unlock it via SmartThings find. OP then replied that they tried but there's no option. The commenter then said that they might not have enabled it on their phone.

I've got curious if I have mine enabled.

Here's how:

1. From Settings, go to your Samsung account

2. Go to Find My Mobile

3. Enable Remote Unlock

My phone glitched I hit restart, it restarted but only came back with use pin not fingerprint. Been locked out. Tried to use smart find to unlock it. When signed on it says it's not locked. So, I locked it and now says lost this phone is locked. There is no option to unlock it.

Not necessarily,  biometrics will not work once the phone is restarted. You must enter the pin you created as back up.
